Help Wennifer Publish Her 1st Book!
Wennifer is a caring daughter, compassionate sister, and dedicated wife. As well, perhaps above all, a supportive mother raising a family and instilling values of kindness in her children that reflects the essence of all that is good in this world.
She willingly gives to unfathomable depths, sometimes leaving nothing to herself but a smile of contentment on her face; for as long as all are provided for, that sometimes is her only nourishment.
This, and many past solstice gatherings are a living example of her generosity in committing precious time to create a welcoming space to bring the community together for a joyful celebration.
But unlike past celebrations, this year is different. Some of our dear friends are no longer physically here with us to share in our laughter and merriment.
She lost one of her closest friends, a soul sister. It is a wound still on the mend.
In this reflection, we are reminded that darkness is ever present, it is an aspect of life, and it is merely the absence of light.
We are also reminded that there is no time for pretense, superficiality, and auto-piloting. For who or what should be in the driver’s seat of our lives, if not the only person that is qualified to be there?
It is a reminder for us to love unconditionally, freely, and abundantly. Forgive more, especially ourselves, whom we tend to be the most harsh with our words, thoughts, and actions.
When Wennifer found a friend who loved her unconditionally, and supported her in everything that she did, they started to weave dreams together, plotting to rule the world, one wholesome delicious purple cabbage recipe at a time. Then, she lost her friend, and dreams again deferred. But not for long this time.
Her desire to write a book based on her PhD thesis and share it with the world burns brighter than ever. As if her friend now lives within her as the seed of inspiration and is the midwife from behind the veil to help deliver this creation into the world.
She has and continues to pour her tears, blood, and sweat into creating and keeping The Water Brewery vital for 14+ years. She is the fulcrum of the household, caring her aging mother, her kids, her husband, and countless other responsibilities; almost always putting her own needs at the bottom of the priority list.
For someone who gives so much but rarely asks for anything in return, we as a community must find opportunities to show her she is seen, she is heard, and she is honored.
She would unlikely ask for help and frankly I’m of a similar disposition. That is why it is good to have friends who would be your champion and rally the community behind a worthy cause.
That is why I am asking you to reach deep within your hearts and contribute to a fund that will help Wennifer realize a dream of publishing her book.
Give whatever amount is within your personal means, which can be a positive thought of encouragement silently spoken within your heart, or USD currency. Both have value, both can help. And there is absolutely zero pressure, your presence in the world is a gift.
